Just trying to take life in stride and keep air in my lungs.

White dress and flowers

I am set to graduate in December of this year (2011) where I will be rewarded with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. Along with this degree I hope that my current internship with a leading aerospace D.O.D. contractor will lead to a full time career opportunity.

However awesome this news is, nothing can match the happiness I feel from my engagement and promise of marriage to the love of my life. The planning process is in full swing and the honeymoon in almost fully planned. My life could not be better. For anyone who might still read this I hope it finds you all in good health and a happy state.

I might continue to update this blog but chances are that my full life will not require it anymore. I used to put down my thoughts in here to help feel belonging and purpose. The move from Texas was a big deal when I was 18, but now that I have a new life (being a homeowner, fiancee, intern) I do not feel the need anymore. Just wanted to update those who might care enough to look.

He has...

only been gone for 5 days but I am super excited that he will be home tomorrow. I can't want to see him and feel his arms wrap around me again and his fingers intertwined with mine.

I've missed you baby.

I just had the best weekend in memory. Jeff took me out to a cabin in the mountains by Cripple Creak. We spent hours in each others arms. It could not have been better.

I am very excited to see where this goes. This one feels right.

To him: I love you.

trip

So, at the last minute on Friday afternoon my father decides that we can chance the roads and try to make it to Kansas for the last horse trial of the season. We made it very well, and Cassia traveled like a champ. We ended up in 4th in Beg. Novice. That is he best finish ever! We also got our best dressage score (38.41) of the year. Good show.

Now, however, I would like to spend some time with my best and my man.
