School and homework and exams and stress

This semester has been pretty alright so far. I have very few complaints. Even better are my grades! I have taken to Calculus rather well; while it takes me hours to complete the required homework, it all pays off in the form of good grades and a bigger brain. I can't wait for Calc II! Sociology of Deviant Behavior is an OK class. The teacher is wonderful, but the subject matter leaves a bad taste in my mouth sometimes. The weekly quizzes are not so terrible but my upcoming research paper and presentation will not be the "bees knees." It is on rape during the Rwanda Genocide. Statistics is pretty fun really. I find myself entranced with the equations and the plug and chug method of getting the homework and exams done. My final class, Astronomy, is wonderful. However, it is hard for me to remember all the facts and figures. I love the teacher, and the subject makes me very interested...I just wish I had the knack for remembering all the stuff presented. Guess we shall see how the first exam goes. *crosses fingers*

The horses are all doing OK. Cassia is finishing up the season wonderfully. I am very happy with the little horse. Flag is off. He has pulled something in his back leg and needs time off to heal. However he is still getting lunged the keep up his fitness and to have the circulation in his leg become increased. Tuck (my now almost 3yo) is so fun! He is already 15.2hh or so, and has had a saddle on and a bit on, but I am still weary to sit on him yet. He is so young and still is having a lot of growth sperts. Rosie is doing wonderfully. She is pregnant and showing signs that there is a foal inside her belly. All the horses are really happy out on our new pasture. It is full of grass and they are getting nice and fat before the first snow (which might come ratehr soon by the looks of it). I am planning on three more horse trials with Cassia this year. Colorado Horse Park the first weekend of October, Briar Fox Horse Trial the last weekend of October, and Las Cruces Horse trial in mid November. :D YAY!

Ok ok, I have Calculus homework to get done. Suppose I should go do it..... love to all!
