I have been saving my monies for about half a year now, and I saved enough to buy a ticket to fly to New York. I bought it a month ago, and did not say anything because it was to be a surprise for Choux. I will leave in the wee hours of the 7th, and return on the 16th. It shall be a good good trip. I miss Cornell, it shall be nice to see her again.

You know the sad thing? I have not been to Texas for over 1 1/2 years, and I have been to NY, so...huh, maybe I should go see Texas again.

Today my mother and I went to Fort Carson. It is one of the two largest Army Forts in the US, along with Fort Hood. My mom had to go see the Perdiatrist (sp) because her heel has been hurting her. Turns out she has a huge bone spur, even larger than large for normal. It is huge and ugly this thing. My poor mom...

Then we headed for the commissary (that is a military base grocery store), because when we drive in to town and are close to one we shop. We now have tons of yummy looking food.

This evening I will have to pick up my mom and dad. Dad was on a trip to Las Alamos, NM and needs a ride home from the rental car place, and mom is at work without the car. So, I will have to drive in, and back from town twice again. Yay.
