Thoughts.

I have been thinking, which sometimes equals not a good thing.

Why are people so cruel to one another? I read the news, and almost always have the urge to cry because of something someone did to someone else.

First of all, is it not cruel to the 9/11 victims (that is almost all people living in and loving the US) to create movies that replay the acts of that day? How can anyone want to see the plane that crashed because of terrorists? All I can say is shame on the moviemakers. All of them.

And why stop with the plane crash movie? Why not tell the story of the NYFD heroes? So many questions.

Now my point: It is hard to live as the same species, to breath the same air, to eat the same foods as people who do such horrendous things to other humans as happen every day.
9/11 being of the most upsetting. Here I am eating my lemon tart and somewhere on this earth a child is being beaten by his or her parent. Somewhere a young girl is being raped. There are people planning how to kill their neighbor because they do not fallow the exact same faith as the future killer.

We get mad at the Sheits and Sunies (sp?) because they want the other to die. They want to kill the other because they fallow a different sect of Islam. It makes me sick. Some Christians are not much different. They say "if you are not Christian than you will not go to heaven" in fact they condemn them to hell. They do not, as a general rule, try to kill the followers of Islam, or Judaism, but they do condemn them to hell!?! What are you thinking people?

I have been reading a book about Mary Magdalene. It is a historical fiction. So not all is "real", but some of it, I believe is. It is very interesting, and I find it amazing how little people have changed. In the time of Jesus, people believed what they wanted, and did not care to venture into what Jesus was teaching. And today, people think they believe the truth, but how do we really know what is truth? Most Christians believe the Bible is the truth. Fine, but I will not dismiss the scientific truths about how old the earth is. Sorry, I just will not do it. Maybe some in the Bible is true. Maybe people changed it to fit their fancy some many years ago, and we are too blind to search or believe those who do search to find not only some of the truth, but all the truth. I do not think the Bible says all the truth. I think some of it was withheld hundreds of years ago to cover what ever it was that the high power wanted to hide. And now, just as that higher power wanted, the Christians now believe the remaining Bible is the "whole truth".

Wow, i hope I do not offend too many readers, but this is how I feel. I do not hold you at knife point to accept my feelings. That my friends is up to you.

And another thing. I like Harry Potter. I like the books a lot. Is there something wrong with them?
