Picture Time

Here are some photos of our place in CO.

This is a typical summer afternoon. The storm threatens but hardly ever fallows through. (even though it is not summer anymore the storms still rear their heads from time to time)

A very full moon, this picture does not do show it so well. It was the largest view of the moon I have ever witnessed.

A view of the barn (taken from inside) after the snow storm. The horses were, at this time, happily inside the warm barn.

A cotton wood tree in our backyard. These are different than the ones in TX, in that they have white bark and look like aspens, but are much larger. More later.

It is hard to believe that there was so much snow just a couple of weeks before Halloween. I was expecting to see some remnants of the storm, maybe some slush here or there, but the ground was perfectly clear. Huh. I really like the moon photo, btw. As for it appearing smaller than it did in person, I think it looks plenty huge, since I know how hard it can be to capture the moon on film. My moon photos usually come out blurry or with an itty-bitty circle against a dark sky.
