Keeping Up

Just trying to take life in stride and keep air in my lungs.

The past week has gone by slowly. I want something exciting to happen. I would love to be showing my horse, or be getting lessons. Ah well...

We planted some bulbs this weekend. I am excited for the spring when the beautiful tulips will show there true colors, and the daisies will glow yellow like the sun they eat from. We might even attract some butterflys, that would just be icing one the cake. I will have to remember all the wild flowers of Texas, but a nice photo or six would be nice too.

Can you believe I have lived in Colorado for a year now? That means I have gone a year without seeing some of my closest friends. I miss you all so much. I think about Waco every day. Not a single day goes by when I do not remember H.O.T. and Shannon and her wonderful girls. I cannot remember a day I do not think about Dusty and Slim and Indy. I never forget Walter and Lee, and Dr. Rich. The Pony Club people, and Fellowship Bible Church were some of my best friends! You all made one single person feel like the most loved in all the world, and I thank you for that. I try to gain what I had in Texas here, but it can never happen. I left the time of my life, and the people that were so close to me, and I know I can never go back. Why must I only be able to live once? Why do I have to say goodbye to the things that are so special. Well, I guess I do not know why, and no one else will. I do know that I must move on, and get used to saying goodbye, but look forward to the things that my life will bring to me.
